2026 Guide to Club Volleyball
Volleyball BC uses a 16-month age category system based on a player’s date of birth, with divisions typically ranging from 13U to 18U for club play. For example, the 12U category includes athletes born between September 2013 and December 2014 for the 2026 season. A 16-month window means athletes born in the September-December period of a year are eligible for two different age divisions.
- Age Divisions: The standard indoor club age categories are13U through 18U.
- 13U: September 2012 – December 2013
- 14U: September 2011 – December 2012
- 15U: September 2010 – December 2011
- 16U: September 2009 – December 2010
- 17U: September 2008 – December 2009
- 18U: September 2007 – December 2008
- Note: These birth dates are examples for the 2026 season and may shift for future seasons. Always check the current year’s regulations.
