2027 Tryout Information
Peninsula Spitfires is excited to welcome you to our 2027 Club Season tryouts. After a successful first season we are excited to welcome Athletes back for another year.
LOCATION: Parkland Secondary School Address: 10640 McDonald Park Rd, North Saanich, BC V8L 5S7 (17U Boys call backs at North Saanich Middle)
Parents, a quick note: Please plan to remain outside the gym during tryouts. You’re welcome to help your athlete with registration and getting settled, but we ask that athletes participate independently without parent viewing. This helps create a relaxed environment where everyone can focus on the tryout.

REGISTRATION – Tryout Registration Begins on October 15, 2026 at 9:00am. Tryout registration closes Dec 5th, 2026 noon.

All athletes will attend the first tryout listed on December 6th. Call Backs will be by invitation only on December 13th.

Age Cut offs:
- 15U: Sept. 1, 2011 – Dec. 31, 2012
- 16U: Sept. 1, 2010 – Dec. 31, 2011
- 17U: Sept. 1, 2009 – Dec. 31, 2010
- 18U: Sept. 1, 2008 – Dec. 31, 2009
*Athletes with late birth months (Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec) can register and compete in the age category down from 14U to 18U.
ie: Athlete born Oct. 2010 qualifies for 16U and 17U age classes.
WHAT is Club Volleyball?
The Volleyball BC club season runs from January through early May. Athletes participate in a tryout session, where coaches assess skills and team placement.
For Peninsula Club Volleyball teams, season costs generally range from $1,000–$1,500. Fees typically cover uniforms, tournament entry fees, gym time, coaching and coach travel. Athlete and parent travel, accommodation and optional gear are not included. (Regular club seasons costs, excluding nationals)
Club volleyball is a great opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and continue playing at a high level after the school season ends. We’re proud of our supportive team environment and welcome athletes of all experience levels to come out and try out.
