• How long is the season?
  • The season typically runs from January to May – typical season finishes off with a provincial tournament for the age category they are entered in.
  • Volleyball Canada Youth National Championships can extend the season by a few weeks, dependent on successful entry.
    • This is an entirely optional tournament and will be hosted in Calgary in May of 2026. For more information visit Volleyball Canada
• Is there a cost to play?
  • Yes- club fees, volleyball BC fees, uniforms, and team fees (including but not limited to: travel expenses, accommodations, food etc.)
    • Club fees are not finalized yet and will be posted as soon as available. Expect fees to be similar to other clubs in the region.
  • Players will be financially responsible for their share of team costs – travelling costs, accommodations, coach’s expenses, extra tournament fees etc.
  • The approximate amount of $1500 – $2000 over the season can vary based on the age groups.
    • This approximation does not include the optional National Championships – teams can discuss whether to try to enter Nationals and approximate costs
  • Need financial assistance?
    • Kidsport or Jumpstart Grants may be available to you.

• What teams/age groups are being offered for 2027? *Volleyball BC 16 month age categories applies.
  • U15/16 combined Female team (birthdates Sept. 1, 2010- Dec. 31, 2012 )- this team will be declared to play at the U16 level
  • U17/U18 combined Female team (birthdates September 2008 to December 2010) – this team will be declared to play at the U18 level
  • U15/U16combined Male team (birthdates Sept. 1, 2010- Dec. 31, 2012) – this team will be declared to play at the U16 level
  • U17 Male team (birthdates Sept 2009 to Dec 2010) – this team will be declared to play at the U17 level
• Will there be try outs?
  • Yes
    • tryouts are currently open for registration for the 2027 season. Due to popular demand, some of our tryouts session may fill. We encourage you to register early.
